Do Not Call Compliance Policy

Global Email Lists is committed to complying with all applicable telemarketing laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) and the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Do Not Call (DNC) provisions. This policy outlines our practices and your rights regarding telephone communications.

1. Our Commitment

Global Email Lists maintains the following commitments regarding telephone communications:

  • We maintain and regularly update an internal Do Not Call list
  • We honour all Do Not Call requests within the time frames required by law
  • We comply with the National Do Not Call Registry maintained by the FTC
  • We train our staff on Do Not Call compliance procedures
  • We do not use auto-dialers, pre-recorded messages or robocalls for unsolicited marketing

2. National Do Not Call Registry

We scrub our calling lists against the National Do Not Call Registry before initiating any outbound telemarketing campaigns. Numbers registered on the National DNC list are excluded from our calling lists within 31 days of registration, as required by law.

To register your phone number on the National Do Not Call Registry, visit www.donotcall.gov or call 1-888-382-1222 from the phone number you wish to register.

3. Internal Do Not Call List

In addition to the National DNC Registry, we maintain our own internal Do Not Call list. If you request to be placed on our internal list, we will add your number within 24 hours and your request will be honoured indefinitely.

4. How to Opt Out of Telephone Communications

You can request to be added to our Do Not Call list by:

  • Telling any of our representatives during a call that you wish to be placed on our Do Not Call list
  • Emailing us at info@globalemaillists.com with the subject line “Do Not Call Request” and including the phone number(s) you want removed
  • Calling us at +1 855 205 1777 and requesting to be added to our Do Not Call list
  • Writing to us at our mailing address with your Do Not Call request

5. Calling Hours

In compliance with TCPA and TSR regulations, we only place telemarketing calls between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM in the called party’s local time zone.

6. Caller Identification

All outbound calls from Global Email Lists will transmit our caller ID information, including our company name and a valid callback telephone number, as required by the TCPA and TSR.

7. Exemptions

Certain calls may be exempt from Do Not Call restrictions as permitted by law, including:

  • Calls made with your prior express written consent
  • Calls related to an existing business relationship (within 18 months of your last transaction or 3 months of your last inquiry)
  • Calls that are not for commercial purposes
  • Calls made for tax-exempt nonprofit organisations

8. Data We Provide to Clients

When we provide B2B contact data to our clients that includes telephone numbers, we advise our clients of their obligation to comply with all applicable telemarketing laws, including:

  • Scrubbing lists against the National DNC Registry before use
  • Maintaining their own internal DNC lists
  • Complying with state-specific DNC laws and regulations
  • Honouring all opt-out requests promptly

9. Enforcement and Training

All employees involved in telephone communications receive training on DNC compliance. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action. We conduct regular audits of our calling practices and DNC list management to ensure ongoing compliance.

10. Filing a Complaint

If you believe you have received a call from Global Email Lists in violation of this policy or applicable law, please contact us immediately at info@globalemaillists.com. You may also file a complaint with the FTC at www.ftc.gov/complaint or your state attorney general’s office.
